Audio Visual and Room Layout Requirements
We are delighted to be working with you on your upcoming event. To ensure that the presentation is a success, we have outlined below the audio/visual requirements necessary for the session(s). Should you have any questions or concerns about this information, please don't hesitate to contact us at
1-800-227-5510.
Computer Projection – The programs are presented using Microsoft PowerPoint. The speakers use a ProPresenter remote advance for slides. Any compatible data projector is acceptable provided it has a brightness of no less than
2500 lumens. A power strip is required for the computers.
The dimensions of the screen should be commensurate with the size of the room. As an example, we recommend no less than an 8' X 8' screen for an audience of 80-100.
Audio – A wireless lavaliere microphone
is preferred and hardware to make it possible to connect our CD playback system to the public address system.
Lighting – Lots of light is preferred on the audience to encourage interaction. For this reason, it is critical that the screen be positioned in such a way that ceiling lights or wall sconces do not wash out the image when projected.
Seating Arrangement – Chevron style seating is preferred in both theatre and classroom arrangements, which allows better access to the audience and allows them a better view of the speaker and the screen. See diagram below.
Front of Room – Please provide a small, cocktail-sized table at the front of the room on which notes, props, and, in some cases, the notebook computer can be placed.
